Helena's best college friends. Charlie Jack (alternately known as Charlie or CJ) is more interested in partying than academics and is always trying to nudge Helena out of her shell. She's unapologetically outspoken, high energy, and always seems to know all the latest campus gossip before anybody else. Mia is a theater major with an interest in costume design and a slightly spacey personality. Nawai is a laidback Sulani native, avid surfer, marine biology major, and Helena's freshman year dormmate.
